Body Fat Percentage and Muscle Mass? - muscle percentage of body
If someone has a healthy body fat content, but is technically underweight by BMI, this means that the person does not have enough muscle mass.
How can the difference between a healthy body fat in a person who is a high degree of muscle mass and a healthy amount of muscle mass. Otherwise, someone could be considered healthy, but have a low level of unhealthy muscle mass.
For example, a woman with only 5ft2 lost 70 pounds muscle mass and 20 kg of fat. She seems to have a healthy body 22%, although the amount of fat that weighs only 90 pounds, but is your body mass is too low (unless it is really very small without bones). I do not see how this can be healthy. In fact, it could continue to lose weight and still have a healthy body fat by the loss of all muscles.
So there is a minimum amount of muscle mass of the people to be healthy?
