ReplyDeletePersonally, as the beginning of other carefully clean the surface with some alcohol on a cotton and QTIP, then put the processor into the socket and lock. Then download all power from me, that is connected to the earth. then use a small amount of the size of a ball bearing thermal compound and spread to my index finger. this is a modest clothing, even layer, so that basically do not see the top of the CPU, wipe clean the edges, add heatsink / fan.
